Apr. 20th, 2018 04:15 pmAccording to my journal notifications, it is Marui-san's birthday. Happy birthday, Marui-san. I hope you have a good day. I'm not a big celebrator of my birthday. It's just another day, in my opinion, but I do see the appeal of celebrating. On my last birthday, I had dinner with my parents and sisters. It wasn't anything fancy or overly celabratory. I got some money and my sister gave me pocky then I let them play with my hair until they got tired. All in all it was a perfectly fine day and I enjoyed the dinner. I don't remember what I did before the dinner, but it was likely reading for a class or attending class... Though, to be honest, Tachibana-san is the exception to that general rule of not celebrating birthdays. When I was in junior high, and even through high school, I'd ask my sisters for help to bake something for Tachibana-san. Usually it was cookies since cakes were a bit much and you can't always save a cake, but you can make multiple batches of cookies and pick out the best ones. I couldn't give Tachibana-san cookies with burned edges. Though, I didn't consider that he might like burned edge cookies. I guess I could try this year. And for Kamio and An-chan too. I guess I don't really care about my own birthday that much or anyone else who isn't a close friend of mine. I wonder if I should celebrate Shishido-san's birthday since he's my roommate or Kite-san since he's Kamio's roommate. I don't know if they like cookies or not though. I'll write up a post it and leave it for them. They can respond in their own time. If anyone else wants cookies on their birthday, you will have to get them from a bakery or ask someone else to make them for you because I don't know you well enough to want to bake for you.
